What is M2M?
The term Machine to Machine - or Danish Machine to Machine - contains technologies that allow wireless and wired systems to communicate with other devices. Automatically, small amounts of data are transmitted at an ongoing interval, and this transfer is done without human interference - such as reading data from a measuring instrument, crashes or transfer of payment information.

Machine to machine is part of things Internet (IoT), and the wide range of applications in many areas such as industrial automation, logistics, intelligent cities, health and defense provide many benefits. It is mostly used for monitoring, but can also be used for control purposes.

An example may be that a sensor or meter captures an event (such as temperature fluctuation, inventory level, and the like) forwarded through a network (wireless connection, cable or hybrid) to a program that translates this event into meaningful information - such as It must be filled up in the warehouse.
